Alan De’ath
President and Chief Executive Officer
Alan De’ath has over 30 years
of experience in senior management positions in
the mining industry, including a 20-year career
with Rio Tinto in Europe and southern Africa and
two years as CFO with TVX Gold in Toronto. He
joined Ivernia in 2000 overseeing business
development and finance before being appointed
President and CEO and Director in July 2003. |

Rob Scargill
Executive Vice President, Operations
Rob has worked in senior
management and technical positions at
international mining companies during a career
spanning more than 20 years. A mining engineer
with extensive experience in mine management,
mine operations and development, he held senior
mining engineering positions at BHP’s Cannington
Mine. Following that, he was responsible for
underground operations at Gympie Eldorado Gold
Mines where he later was appointed Chief
Executive/General Manager. Later, he became
General Manager of Perilya Ltd’s Broken Hill
Operations, then Managing Director of Copper
Range Ltd., both ASX listed companies. Most
recently he was Country Manager at Australian
Solomons Gold Ltd responsible for all the
Company’s activities in the Solomon Islands
including the start up of the Gold Ridge Mine,
project management and relationship building
with local landowners and government.
Rob received a Bachelor of Mining Engineering
honours degree from Nottingham University,
United Kingdom, in 1988. |

Brent Omland Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Brent is a Chartered
Accountant with extensive auditing and corporate
experience in the Canadian mining and accounting
industries. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce
(Accounting) degree from the University of
British Columbia and is a member of the Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Brent joined Ivernia in February 2008 as Director – Finance. Prior to that, he was with Teck Resources Limited.
Brent is based in Toronto and will divide his time between Toronto and Perth during the Magellan restart planning and start-up period.

Bruce Hooper
Vice President, Corporate Development and Exploration
Bruce has 30 years of exploration and
development experience in Australia and
internationally. He has managed many successful
exploration programs and is well experienced in
taking initial exploration prospects through to
evaluation and into production. He is an Honours
Graduate from the University of Leeds, UK in
Geological Sciences and has worked for both
major resource companies and junior explorers.
He started his working career in the petroleum
industry for BP in the North Sea before moving
to Australia and joining Rio Tinto and then
North Ltd exploring for base metals, gold and
uranium throughout Australia and led the team
that discovered the E48 deposit at Northparkes.
Moving to Chile and then on to Indonesia as part
of the expansion of North Ltd into South America
and Asia he was involved in exploring for a
variety of commodities. He moved back to
Australia with Straits Resources as it begun its
expansion from a one mine company into a
diversified explorer, acquirer and developer of
projects in Australia and Asia. Prior to
joining Ivernia he was employed by Perilya Ltd
as GM Exploration to build an exploration team
and grow the company.

Doug Grimmond
General Manager, Magellan Metals
Doug is a Chemical Engineer
who has extensive experience with Rio Tinto
Alcan and Alcan Gove Pty Limited. Doug has over
10 years of general management experience
including mining, mineral processing and rail
operations. Doug holds a Bachelor of
Engineering (Honours) in Chemical Engineering
from the University of New South Wales. |

Dr.
John Yeates
Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility
Dr. Yeates has over 35 years
of experience in all aspects of environmental
management across a wide range of industries
within Australia and in the Asia-Pacific
region.
Prior to joining Ivernia, he was a
Senior Executive at LandCorp, the Western
Australian Government's land and property
developer, where he provided corporate
leadership and managed environmental risk
assessment, compliance and management for all
the company’s projects. He led the development
and implementation of environmental due
diligence and risk management procedures and
programs. |

Kane Blackman
Manager of Health, Safety and Environment, Magellan Metals
Kane Blackman has extensive
environmental management experience in the
mining and oil and gas industries. Prior to
joining Magellan in 2008, Kane’s roles included
consultancy positions with Enesar and Coffey
Natural Systems, where he worked on a number of
mining and oil and gas projects in Papua New
Guinea. As a consultant, Kane was a key member
of the team that worked with Magellan management
to develop the new sealed shipment process for
lead carbonate concentrate. He holds a Bachelor
of Science (Honours) and a Diploma of Modern
Languages (French) from the University of
Melbourne, and a Master of Business
Administration from the University of South
Australia.

John Pitcher
General Counsel and Secretary
John Pitcher was appointed General Counsel and
Secretary in October 2008. Before joining
Ivernia he was General Counsel and Secretary of
New Gold Inc. and prior to that Corporate
Counsel at Gabriel Resources Ltd. |

Julian Hayes
Processing Manager, Magellan Metals
Julian Hayes is a
professional metallurgist with extensive
experience in operations and international
projects. Prior to joining Magellan, Julian's
experience included Process Manager at the
Chatree Gold Mine (Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd)
and Mill Manager at the Bronzewing and Jundee
operations for Newmont Mining. Most recently,
Julian provided consulting and contract
metallurgy services through his company, Mineral
Processing Expertise Pty Ltd. Julian holds a
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mineral
Process Engineering and a Master of Science in
Mining and Mineral Technology. |

David Wilkie
Mining Manager, Magellan Metals
David brings considerable
mining experience across a range of commodities
in both open pit and underground mining
operations. David has held management roles at
St Barbara Mines, Tanami Gold NL, Croesus
Norseman operations and also worked in various
management roles for MacMahon, Henry Walker
Eltin, Thiess, Barminco mining contractors.
David has a Bachelor of Science (Mining
Engineering) from Colorado School of Mines, a WA
First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of
Competency and is a member of Australian
Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. |

Ann Candelario Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications
Ann has more than 15 years
experience in the investor relations field. Most
recently she directed investor relations at
Intrepid Mines Limited, an emerging gold
producer. Previously she held senior investor
relations positions in several technology and
network communications companies based in
Silicon Valley, California.

Corporate Controller
Richard Perfect is a
Certified General Accountant with approximately
15 years of experience at a number of companies
in Canada. Mr. Perfect joined Ivernia in June
2003.

Ben-Louis Ludik
Finance Manager, Magellan Metals
Ben-Louis is a Chartered
Accountant with auditing and corporate
experience in South Africa and Australia. Prior
to joining Ivernia in 2006, Ben-Louis’ roles
included the positions of Senior Auditor with an
Australian auditing firm and a Group Accountant
position in a manufacturing and retail company.
He holds a Masters degree in Financial
Accounting and an Honours Degree in Logistics.
He has 15 years experience in External Auditing,
Commerce and Education. |

Jason Thomas
Contracts and Logistics Manager, Magellan Metals
Jason Thomas has previously
held senior management roles in sales, marketing
and logistics with Sun Metals Corporation and
more recently Barrick (Osborne). He has a wide
range of experience in the import and export of
bulk materials, finished metal, by-products and
sulphuric acid. Jason holds and Bachelor of
Applied Science (Honours) in Material Science
and a Masters in Technology Management. |
